Taking Care of Your Skin
By Um Abdel-Aziz

We should always think about how we feel after a nice hot shower all baby dolled up, and putting our comfy clothes on for the day. The first step to take care of your skin would be to Moisturize it. It Doesn't have to be an expensive moisturizer. I myself use Olay day and night. Make this a habit, and for all you young ones out there, don't think it's too soon to use moisturizer.

I've taught my daughter to take care of her face and body at a very young age. If you start using Moisturizers now, you will be thankful when you're in your thirties. Then your mind will begin to mature and your body will be screaming! "hey, look what you did to me in your teens!!! and 20's!"  So, if you take care of your body at a young age it will reflect on your appearance later on in life.

After you take care of your skin with the moisturizing you can add a touch of art to your face. Always remember to add your moisturizer before you apply your make-up.

Foundation
It is important to use a good foundation that looks natural.

Eye-Shadows:
Sweep a touch of shadow over your lids to accent eyes. You can define them, add drama, and make them stand out in a few quick steps

Always use a base color "white, tan"

1. You cover the whole eye lid with this color
2. Get a natural color to go over this color.
3. Use a medium toned shade to cover the lower lid.
4. Contour the crease of your eyelid with a dark shade,
5. To blend the shadow with a eye shadow brush.

Blush:

Blush brings the glow to your face:

Make sure to always get a blush that matches your skin color. Pinks are always nice, it gives a child like look of innocence.

1. Make sure to always get the apples of your cheeks.
2. Cream blush works well for drier skin
3. Powder blush is better for oily skin.
4. When you apply the blush, look in the mirror and smile.

Remember, the lighter your skin color is the lighter your blush should be.

Lipstick adds the final touch to any makeup application. Lining the lips creates subtle definition and perfects the shape of the lips.

Remember always add all your other make-up before you add your lipstick, lipstick always goes on last, the final touch.

Before making your make-up look FAB, you MUST take care of your face.

Cosmetics, like laughter, can be therapeutic. Doesn't have to be a ton of make-up no. My Theory is: Less is More. You don't have to wear make-up to keep up your appearance. So, I will give you some ideas on how to make yourself radiate while you are at home. You can wear make-up to give it that extra touch or not. Depends on what you like.
But, the most important thing is the moisturizer.
