Lavender Soap

  2 cups grated soap
1/2 cup water
2 T. dried lavender buds
10 drops lavender oil
20 drops lemon oil
6 vitamin E capsules

You will need a double boiler for this recipe and in most soap making. Melt 2 cups of grated soap you can use the goat milk base for this recipe. Add the 1/2 cup of water. After the soap has melted, add the vitamin E oil and the rest of the ingredients. When the soap has thickened and cooled off you can begin to shape your soap. Shape you soap into a ball and then flatten, as the soap cools more you can put into a mold or different shapes. You may get a shinny effect to the soap by putting lavender oil on your hands and wiping over the soap.

To mold the soap you do not need to spend money on molds you can use items you find in your home like any plastic food container, used yogurt container that is washed, plastic jellow molds, etc.

Tea Time

For an interesting cup of tea add a tiny bit of lavender sprigs or lavender buds to the tea pot and let it steep with your favorite tea. Make sure to use organically grown lavender.

You may add a bit of Culinary lavender (1 tbsp. Fresh) to any cake or favorite muffin  recipe. It add something special to  your blueberry muffin recipe.

1 tbsp semolina granules
2 tsp kaolin
2 tbsp lavender water
1 tsp honey
20 drops citrus seed extract
4 drops lavender essential oil

Mix the granules and kaolin
Mix the lavender water to the dry ingredients into a smooth paste
Add the remaining ingredients, mixing thoroughly
Apply a small amount to a damp face
Rinse with warm water
Store in a glass container

To keep up to six months store in a cool place,
Use clean spoon when taking out for use, and do not place unused portions back into same container.
